If our budgets align, we move to the design stage. Here, we dive into the details of your project, covering everything down to the smallest elements like door hinge colors. Once the design is complete and approved, we present you with a fixed-price proposal, a detailed schedule, and a contract.

Material Procurement

We request a deposit for all the finish materials and purchase them right away. If possible, we store these materials at your place to ensure everything is ready when we start the project.

Project Execution

With all materials on hand and a clear plan in place, we begin the construction phase. Our team works diligently to bring your vision to life, maintaining open communication throughout the process.

Completion and Punch List

Upon project completion, we request a single punch list from you. To ensure your satisfaction, we leave a 5% balance with you until the punch list is fully addressed.

Post-Completion Support

We stand by our work with a comprehensive 2-year craftsmanship warranty. Additionally, we return within the first year to repair any cracks that may have appeared in the areas we worked on.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is included in your fixed-price contract?

Our fixed-price contract includes all costs associated with the project, such as design, materials, labor, permits, and any other necessary expenses. This ensures that there are no unexpected costs for you once the project begins. Everything is calculated according to your projects designs and needs.

How do you ensure that the project stays within the agreed budget?

We conduct thorough planning and detailed cost estimation before starting the project. Regular monitoring and updates help us stay on track. Any potential issues are addressed promptly to avoid budget overruns.

What happens if there are unexpected changes or additional work needed during the project?

There are mainly two types of changes that can happen, which are Customer Requested Changed or Unexpected changes. Customer Requested Changes are simple and straight forward, i.e. A customer requested to change an area of the of the floor from hardwood to tile. In that case we present the price change, schedule change and if approved we move forward, if not we stick to the original plan. If unexpected changes or additional work such as a DYI style electrical work behind sheet rock that we did not see are required, we will discuss the options with you and provide a revised estimate. In both cases we do not proceed without you knowing and approving the change. We always ensure that any changes are agreed upon before proceeding, to maintain transparency throughout the process.

Can you provide examples of past projects similar to mine?

Yes, we have a portfolio of past projects that we can share with you. These examples will give you an idea of our work quality and the types of projects we have successfully completed. We can also share our past customer contact information with you so you can ask them any questions you may have, but we only share their contact information with their permission.

How do you handle the selection of materials and finishes?

We work closely with you to select materials and finishes that meet your preferences and budget. Our team provides recommendations and samples to help you make informed decisions.

What is the typical timeline for a project like mine?

The timeline for each project varies based on its complexity and scope. We provide a detailed project schedule during the planning phase and keep you updated on progress to ensure timely completion.

How do you manage communication and updates throughout the project?

We maintain open and regular communication with you through scheduled meetings, emails, and phone calls. Our project manager will be your main point of contact, ensuring you are informed about every stage of the project.

What warranties or guarantees do you offer on your work?

Unlike most companies in our area we offer a 2 year comprehensive warranty on our workmanship while manufacturers of materials we use have their warranty with some ranging up to life time. Specific warranty details will be outlined in your contract, providing you with peace of mind regarding the quality and durability of our work.

How do you handle permits and inspections?

We take care of all necessary permits and inspections required for your project. Our team ensures that all work complies with local building codes and regulations, facilitating a smooth approval process.
